My name is Tommaso Paloschi, I am 27 years old and I live in northern Italy. My passion for photography was born about 4 years ago; I needed a video camera that would allow me to shoot my MTB descents and then I approached the world of GoPro and actioncam.
One thing I loved and still love to do today are the night photographs. It can be said that my passion for photography comes from the stars, the milky way and all the celestial bodies visible in the sky. As a child, I spent a lot of time observing the stars; the excitement I feel now when I manage to capture the Milky Way is indescribable. Afterwards I began to like nature and landscape photography day after day, shot after shot.
Working in an office also had an important influence in this regard. I need to escape the city and all the chaos regularly, to be only immersed by nature. Only then, back in nature and while exploring new places, I can find myself again. I absolutely don’t want to wake up one day, discover that I no longer have the age or strength to travel with the “sack on my shoulder”, sleep in a tent or manage to reach the top of a mountain.
As such, with my photographs I would like to pass on the message that the world is out there and that it deserves to be lived in every aspect. Go out, explore, travel and enjoy the nature! And if you travel with your best friend, what else can you ask for?
I believe Nuuk – my Siberian Husky – and I make a great team. To be honest, I didn’t know how it would go because Siberian Huskies, by character, are very difficult to manage and above all they are very stubborn.
Though, Nuuk and I understood each other immediately. From the first day we met, when he was only two months old, he sat down and posed to for a picture; at that moment I realized that we would be a perfect couple. He is very intelligent, and I love his “wild wolf side” that comes out every time I let him free in a forest or in a meadow.
