At the age of 15 I bought my first camera of my pocket money. At the beginning I mainly photographed my little French Bulldog Alec to capture the great moments I spent with him. Back then I already enjoyed photography a lot, so I always wanted to get better. As such, I began to learn photography watching YouTube tutorials and trying new things.
Eventually I moved to Berlin and started to capture street photography. But I realized quickly that landscape photography brought a perfect balance to my exciting city life. Since then I try to travel to as many places as possible and I always make plenty of time to photograph my adventures with friends and family.
On my journeys I try to take Alec with me as often as I can. Sometimes I take him to places such as Lago di Sorapis, which is a two hours hike uphill. Other times we go to Secede at 2500 meters high. So, we are a good team!
I hope Alec is enjoying these trips as much as I do! Although, of course, sometimes one prefers a comfortable bed and warm shower, spending the night at those unique places is always worth it.
Along my trips I have met a lot of great people who share the same passion for the outdoors and photography. And that is awesome, I love getting to know all those people behind the camera or Instagram accounts.
The truth is that not too many people voluntarily get up at 4 a.m. on the weekend to walk in the darkness “just to take a few pictures”. But for me this is an indescribable feeling and experience. I love capturing sunrises in complete silence and peace. Discovering the world again and again form new perspectives just makes me feel happy!
