“Arriving at the car park in the valley of Canisp, a slightly higher mountain than the nearby Suilven, it was still eerily dark on this cold autumn morning. We unpacked the head torches and set off on the start of a 21km round trip. As we walked through the valley, we caught the most surreal sunrise appearing over Suilven in the distance – I couldn’t have asked for a better day for this hike.”
