“My past has had a significant influence on who I am as an artist nowadays. I grew up next to a forest where my brother and I spent a lot of time and at school, instead of studying on the computer, I looked at landscapes. I always withdrew into the peace and quiet of the wild. It was and is my “haven”.

“For my photography, but also for anything else in life, I try to live up to my vision: “Don’t be trapped by dogma—which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.”
