I am Benjamin Savary, a 24 years old photographer, born and raised in east Switzerland. Currently I am studying sports & health sciences and geography at the University of Basel with the goal of becoming a teacher.

From a very young age, I began using cameras and fell in love with the possibility of capturing meaningful moments, and reliving them. I am grateful for my grandparents, who also played a huge role in my passion for photography. We live very close to the notable Alpstein Alps in Switzerland, where I have spent many summer days together with them.

"They taught me to love the mountains, appreciate the environment, and not take it all for granted. We still go on hikes together!"

Personally, for me social media is not about the likes and followers. It’s about what I can do to support and protect our environment. We are living in a very decisive period in time considering the impact of climate change. Showcasing the beauty of our natural world to others helps to raise awareness. We should respect and preserve this incredible planet we live on.

"There are so many talented artists worldwide giving their best to save specific locations (or species) for future generations to enjoy."
"My goal is to motivate and inspire others to go outside and explore and create unforgettable memories with close friends or family."

Life can be tough sometimes, so when it gets a little too much, a little adventure outside can offer the perfect escape. I will never stop loving a sunrise on top of a mountain with friends and family. I get so much energy out of those moments, and I believe people would experience something similar if they only tried.

"As the saying goes: Try and fail but never fail to try."
