I come from Indonesia, from a small town named Banjarnegara in the area of Central Java, to be precise. It sounds unfamiliar to some people when I mention this city, but when I say “Dieng Banjarnegara” certainly everyone knows it because of the panorama of nature, and the rich culture and traditions that are strongly present still today. Many people refer to Dieng as a city on the clouds because it is situated on a plateau and surrounded by a very green valley.
In the beginning of 2013 I started to learn about photography in depth. I never learnt through formal courses, but taught myself because I really like doing things full of challenges and when I learn at my own pace facing difficulties and obstacles I learn millions of ways to solve problems and create new insights. So I find my weakness in technical and non technical aspects and always try to ameliorate. It always strengthens my passion when I notice that I have grown, that I am able to apply new things that I have learnt.
I agreed with myself to always catch every trip into one photo frame and share positivity with everyone with the hope everyone can see a unique panorama of nature and a new spirit to be always amazed by what they see. With this journey, hopefully I can capture the beauty of God’s creations around the world with my camera lens.
I am motivated to always get out of my comfort zone to actually achieve that. Every photo frame I uploaded looks very dangerous and is beyond the logic of people in general. That derives from my feeling when I take the photos; I feel a place with my heart and soul and transform that into art. For some people these places may look imaginary but to me these places are there because God always creates a beautiful and perfect thing.
A trip always holds many happy and sad stories, because when walking to a new place will be a tremendous happiness, but will feel sad when we have to go home and leave that journey. That’s why I want to summarize these different stories and feelings during the journey into one photo frame. As said, I combine landscape photography and drone photography with digital art. To achieve the perfect result I merge multiple photos in Photoshop, for one photo frame I need three to five photos for maximum results – sometimes even more.
I love travel and nature, but I specifically like the high spots because you can overlook the vast nature below and basically place yourself into perspective. The beauty of nature is magnificent, I can feel peaceful there and with photography I can visualize what is in my heart for real. Photography enabled me to understand what life means, what its essence is. While taking photos at a certain place I would always take the time to meditate with nature because it recovers my mind. And I would always remind my older brother, my big inspiration in life, to whom I dedicate all my photos.
