My passion for photography started when I first moved to the US to attend boarding school in Lake Placid, NY. It sparked my interest when I got a GoPro camera as a gift. I started taking action shots of my friends playing pond hockey outdoors. Not to mention, I was fortunate and lucky being located in the Adirondacks with beautiful mountains wherever you lay your eyes on.
However, there’s only that much you can do in that area and it felt like l was stuck so after graduating college from SUNY Canton in the US I received a job offer back home in Gothenburg as a content producer for a student travel organization, STS Education.
I started to enjoy a new side of photography that I never experienced before, and I’m very grateful for that. I’m very fortunate to travel through my job and it has took me to some incredible places in this beautiful world, places I could only dream of seeing. In the future I hope to see more places, and experience new cultures around the world.
There’s something special about being out in the wild. Whenever I’m out there I feel free and there’s something about finding that inner peace and enjoying that exact moment. Taking it all in, and knowing that you won’t get this moment back. I love that feeling. I also feel like my creativity starts to flow whenever I’m out exploring new places.
